Description:
Organisasi kerja terutama menyangkut waktu kerja, waktu istirahat, sistem kerja harian/borongan, masuk kerja dan insentif dapat berpengaruh terhadap produktivitas, baik langsung maupun tidak langsung. Manuaba (1990) menjelaskan bahwa jam kerja berlebihan, jam kerja lembur di luar batas kemampuan akan dapat mempercepat munculnya kelelahan, menurunkan ketepatan, kecepatan dan ketelitian kerja. Oleh karena setiap fungsi tubuh memerlukan keseimbangan yang ritmis antara asupan energi dan penggantian energi (kerja-istirahat), maka diperlukan adanya waktu istirahat pendek dengan sedikit kudapan (15 menit setelah 1,5 - 2 jam kerja) untuk mempertahankan performansi dan efisiensi kerja. (Tarwaka, Solichul dan Lilik, 2004)
